ECO and AISK launch recycle cage

Wisynco ECO, the corporate social responsibility arm of Wisynco Group Limited, has partnered with the American International School of Kingston (AISK) to launch a recycle cage for students and staff of AISK to actively participate in Jamaica’s plastic bottle recycling movement.

The cage was unveiled during an official ribbon-cutting ceremony last week.

The occasion marked Wisynco ECO’s endorsement of AISK’s Global Issues Network and Garbage Patrol initiatives; and underscored Wisynco ECO and AISK’s commitment to playing an active role in helping to preserve Jamaica’s environment.

CEO of Wisynco, Andrew Mahfood spoke to the importance of partnerships at various levels.

“What this does is it brings us together with the schools to encourage them to recycle – and the kids are so passionate about recycling and removing plastic from our environment. AtWisynco that’s exactly what we want to do, we want to encourage all stakeholders, encourage our entire country to recycle,” Mahfood explained.
