The scholarship will cover the student’s tuition for the duration of his/her programme, provided he/she meets the required criteria.

As the name suggests, this scholarship honours the legacy of the late Joe Mahfood, a founding father of Wisynco Group Limited whose work as Store Manager, Plant Manager, General Manager, and Group Managing Director, was instrumental in making Wisynco the manufacturing giant it is today. In launching this scholarship, we hope to honour his achievements, celebrate his legacy and inspire future engineers and industry leaders.

To apply, applicants must download the application form, complete the form in full and submit it along with all supporting documents via email to scholarships@wisynco.com before Monday, July 11, 2025 at 5:00 P.M. The Selection Process

• Must have a minimum GPA of 3.3;
• Must be involved in extra-curricular activities and/volunteerism;
• Must provide two reference letters and details for referees
• Must provide an official academic transcript;
• Must provide an invoice for payment from the university;
• Must provide essays detailing academic excellence and financial need;
• Must provide an acceptance letter from a recognized Jamaican university or valid university ID.
