The HR Officer will serve as a member of the HR Services Team and will be responsible for the effective and efficient execution of day to day HR transactional functions by providing support to business units, through projects and the coordination of core HR processes.
REQUIRED SKILLS, BEHAVIOURS AND COMPETENCIES:
o Excellent communication skills – both in written and verbal formats with all levels of staff
o Sound knowledge of recruitment best practices
o Good organization and time management skills
o People oriented and results driven with excellent interpersonal skills
o Sound attention to detail
o Highly confidential with strong work ethics and ability to work effectively within a team
o Proficient in MS Office
o Knowledge of HRIS is an asset
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
o 1st Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or relevant field
o Proven experience working in a similar capacity at least (3) three years
o Sound knowledge of Jamaican Labour Laws
