Bigga back to sponsor Jamaica Oaks Race Day
WISYNCO Limited, through its brand Bigga Soft Drinks, will once again be the major sponsor of the 75th running of the Jamaica Oaks (Grade One), boasting a purse of $3 million, inclusive of $2 million from Bigga, it was announced at a press conference at Caymanas Park yesterday.
The Bigga Jamaica Oaks will run in honour of the late Hilma M Veira, a former general manager at the Jamaica Racing Commission.
Marketing co-ordinator at Bigga, Keteisha McCulloch, gave her company’s commitment to horse racing in sponsoring the race day.
“Wisynco, through its brand Bigga Soft Drinks, is elated to be back for our seventh staging of the Bigga Jamaica Oaks Race Day. It is with pleasure we lend our support to the ongoing development of horse racing in Jamaica. This race day allows for this very Jamaican brand of soft drinks to connect with its consumers through the Sport of Kings,” she said.
